Visit your nearest SPAR, TOPS at SPAR, SPAR Express, or SaveMor store to get your SPAR Mobile SIM card. Find it at the customer service desk or ask a store employee for assistance.
Your SPAR Mobile SIM comes with 300MB of data and R10 airtime - both non-expiring!

Step 2

RICA & Activate your SIM

In-Store Activation: Visit the store, where an employee/agent will assist you with the activation.
Simply insert the SIM card into your phone to start earning FREE data on selected items. It’s that easy to get connected with SPAR Mobile!
NB - SIM card comes preloaded with 300MB and R10 airtime that does NOT expire!
Home Activation: Send the word 'RICA' to 063 901 0001. Follow the instructions and provide your ID/Passport number and SIM serial number.

Step 3

Keep your number
or get a new one

Get a New Number: Obtain a brand new number if you prefer.
Port your Existing Number: Port your current number to SPAR Mobile if you're on prepaid. Ensure you’re not on a contract.
Contract: If you're on a contract, switch to prepaid before starting the porting process.
Home Porting: Port your number via WhatsApp from the comfort of your home.

Step 4

Download the
SPAR Mobile App

Quick Download: Search for "SPAR Mobile" on the Play Store, App Store, or App Gallery.
Login: Use your SPAR Mobile number or ported cell phone number to log in.
Create Password: Set a new password for added security.

Easy top-ups

In-Store: Recharge your data and airtime at the till point in-store.
USSD: Dial *136# on your phone to top up.
App: Use the SPAR Mobile app for convenient top-ups.

Step 6

Earn FREE data rewards!

As soon as you’ve activated your SIM, you can start earning immediately on selected items.
